Sustainable Energy Team
Director, Energy Infrastructure. Leader for all LACCD campuses on providing independent clean energy central
plants along with providing energy management, performance and conservation programs. Currently the Team is
selecting independent companies for an expanded program to make the 9 campuses energy independent and
climate neutral through renewable energy generation including solar, wind, bio-mass and energy storage devices
with future advanced technologies and systems including sustainable mass transit and hydrogen. Members of the
Team present findings and results at major professional conferences in engineering, public policy, science,
economics and law for both public exposure to the ideas as well as publication in professional journals, books and
mass media.
Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region (IMAR), People's Republic of China (PRC)
Senior Foreign Energy Advisor, Asian Development Bank (ADB): Directs a foreign energy advisory team whose role
was research five countries and one nation-state (California) for a set of case studies on developed nations' history
of energy generation and their impact on the environment in order to learn what not to do in IMAR. In short, make
recommendation and develop plans that leapfrog the energy and environmental mistakes of the west.
